Day 1 -
Our Electrical team start work installing the required electrical
circuits. All parts are delivered to site. Our Electrical team unload the
vehicles and check the delivery is complete.
All solar panels are tested so they are ready for the Roofer.
Day 2 -
The Roofer installs all of the mounting system and solar panels.
The Electrical team completes the installation.
Day 3 -
The QS checks all elements of the job for conformance and
commissions the system. They take you through every major part of
the system, what it does and the correct method of operation. Any
questions you have will be answered. The system is then handed
over to you and final payment is made. Waste recycling is booked for
collection.

One of the driving forces behind Make Your Energy is our concerns over climate change. Helping people install solar panel systems actively reduces carbon in the atmosphere by nearly 1,000kg per install, per year. Make Your Energy is a member of the Carbon Club and voluntarily supports the planting of trees on a monthly basis
How Does A Solar Panel System Work
Solar panels capture sunlight and turn it into electricity. Silicon in the
panels absorb photons from the sun, making electrons move and
create electricity. The optimal position for solar panels is on a south
facing roof at 35 degrees, east-west systems also work well.
A special device, called a hybrid inverter, decides whether to send the
electricity to the home, store the electricity in a battery or export it to
the grid.
The batteries used are made of Lithium Iron Phosphate. The latest
batteries have extra safety features to prevent fires. Very cold
temperatures can make the batteries less efficient, but modern
versions maintain their efficiency down to 0 degrees Celsius.
